Done

It's almost finished! Our basement is almost finished! A month and a half of workmen coming and going, more dust than I ever thought possible and an extremely uptight feline are soon to be a distant memory. Hooray!

I made a pound cake from scratch this morning. I've never done that before. Don't ask me what came over me, I have no idea. I thought I'd give it a try. I'm usually a mix kind of girl. I haven't had any yet so I have no idea if it's any good. I'll let you know.

I've been grumpy lately. It's because I'm now so huge that it is impossible to get comfortable. I'm thinking I'm going to be a major bitch from now until about October. I figure I should be used to the sleep deprivation and my boobs will have gotten used to nursing by then. So sorry in advance if I snap at you or have a general look of hatred towards the living on my face if I see you. Don't take it personally, it's not you, it's me.
